Here are some very simple but delicious salad dressings you can make in your blender:

Peanut Butter Sauce


  1.      Ginger, 2 inch piece (cut into 3 or 4 pieces)
  2.      Garlic, 2 cloves
  3.      Peanut butter, ½ cup
  4.      Soya sauce, 1 tbsp
  5.      Lemon juice, 1 tsp
  6.      Sriracha Sauce, 1 tsp
  7.      Water, about 2 tbsp or more


  1.   Transfer all the ingredients to your blender with 1 tbsp of water initially.
  2.   Gradually add more water if the blender is having difficulty blending the ingredients together or if you prefer thinner consistency.

Parmesan Balsamic Vinaigrette


  1.      Balsamic Vinegar, 2 tbsp
  2.      Lemon, 1 (peel it and cut in half)
  3.      Garlic, 1 clove
  4.      Salt, 1 tsp
  5.      Basil leaves, 2 tbsp (chopped)
  6.      Thyme leaves, 1 tbsp
  7.      Parmesan cheese, ¼ cup (shredded)
  8.  Pepper, ¼ tsp
  9.  Olive oil, ½ cup


  1.      Add all the ingredients to your blender with ¼ cup oil initially.
  2.      Gradually add the remaining oil from the opening in the lid while the blender is still running.
  3.      Blend until you get a homogeneous mixture.

Caesar Dressing


  1.      Olive oil, 1 cup
  2.      Lemon juice, 2 tbsp
  3.      Water, ¼ cup
  4.      White vinegar, 1tbsp
  5.      Salt, 1tsp
  6.      Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp
  7.  Dijon mustard, 1 tsp
  8.  Pepper, 1 tsp
  9.  Egg yolk, 1
  10.  Garlic, 2 cloves
  11.  Parmesan cheese, ¼ cup


  1.      Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until they are emulsified.

Red Plum Basil Vinaigrette


  1.      Red plums, 2 (seed removed)
  2.      Balsamic vinegar, ¼ cup
  3.      Olive oil, ½ cup
  4.      Basil leaves, 2 tbsp (chopped)
  5.      Garlic, 1 clove
  6.  Maple syrup, 1 tsp
  7.  Salt and pepper to taste


  1.      Add all the ingredients to your immersion blender and blend till you get a smooth mixture.

 Celery Seed Dressing


  1.      Granulated sugar, 2/3 cup
  2.      Salt, 1tsp
  3.      Vinegar, 5 tbsp
  4.      Lemon juice, 1 tbsp
  5.      Mustard powder, 1 tsp
  6.      Onion, ¼ (chopped)
  7.      Celery seed, ½ tsp
  8.      Canola oil, 1 cup


  1.      Blend everything in your blender until smooth.
